Nutch Empire

The Nutch Empire,  aka Nutland, aka Imperial Nutland, aka the Land of Nuts, aka The Land with Many Names, aka the aka The Land with Too Many Names, aka Why Are There So Many Names????? is a country in west Fridgia populated by nuts, things similar to nuts and anything with the word ‘nut’ in it (Peanut, coconut, donut, etc).

The current ruler of Nutland is Emperor Butter, a peanut. Notable past emperors include Knut, a gold acorn who founded the country and capital, Knuts, Mound V, who finished the digging of the All-Mound canal, named for All of the Mound emperors who worked on it, Kashoo I, who founded the great port of Kashoos, Wul, who founded a city, Wuls, on the Mayoneez coast, as well as conquering The North territory, and the tribes Scrambolia and Monotrema.

Nutland was founded around 650 years before the Great Revolution, or ~650 BMA

When it was founded, all of Nutland’s power was in the hands of the emperor. In 162ma, shortly after the industrial revolution, the Empress Peca III abused her power, forcing citizens to build hundreds of coal mines and power stations with extremely poor working conditions. The Nutch people rebelled, using a privately owned army to overthrow the oppressive empress. They then created a parliament, the リ⚍ᓵᒷᓭ ᓵ𝙹リ⊣∷ᒷᓭᓭ⚍ᓭ, and installed a new leader, Emperor Kashoo III, only with significantly less power. It is important to know that the emperor still does have power, and, should parliament decide with a 2/3 majority, the emperor can be granted emergency power.

In a forested valley on the eastern side of the Nutland Island, surrounded by the Knikiti mountains, Emperor Knut founded the first nutch city, named after him: Knuts. They used the wood from the forest and the stoner from the nearby mountains to construct the city, and Emperor Kunt set up the Black Pear Cavalry for protection: A group of macadamians whom had managed to tame the local ursidae. This valley became the first Nutch province: Knutxia.

In 294 ma, there was a major diplomatic incident known as the Catastrophe of '94. After Berryland put heavy sanctions on Nutland for their disregard to the environment, a series of bad financial decisions led to the collapse of the economy. Tensions with berryland started rising, and the Citrus Kingdom and Pastia had to step in to de-escalate the situation. The recovery of their economy began with a change of currency from the worthless Nutch Miulk to the same Miulks that Pastia, Pankaco, and Liechtenpie were using.

In 308 ma, Nutland allied with the Republic of Watermelons in order to help Applia in the Ghost War. After an accident in Ketchopia led to the invention of the atomic bomb, Nutland's economy skyrocketed from uranium exports. This in turn led to the Freezer War, a conflict between the Melo-Nutch Alliance and SORP and the Cheeseograpean Empire. Nutland and the ROW decided to form the SHARKFIN Alliance Group along with the Citrus Kingdom, Berryland, and Cherryland, which improved Nutland-Berry relations greatly - Although they were later kicked from the group due to an incident in the Imperial Courtyard which would later come to be known as the 343 Triplaza Massacre.

In 369, after an unprecedented Cheeseni invasion on a national holiday, Nutland invaded Mayoneez, capturing the subcontinent in a matter of hours. However, they were forced to pull out of Mayoneez by the Treaty of Polaris, but were allowed to keep Wulxia.

Nutland made many important technological advancements for the planet, including the invention of coal power and the steam engine in 162ma, and the invention of flight. Nutland became a founding member of the UF in 318 MA.
